PaperCutz's 5th Winx Release Slated for December 2025

1/30/2025

In 2023, much to the delight of English speaking fans, Rainbow partnered with American publisher PaperCutz to bring new releases of the translated Winx Club comics to shelves

Thus far, the first three volumes containing comics 1-9 have been released in physical and ebook editions. The first multi collection release slated for the later half of next month. And the fourth volume releasing in July.

Though these waits are building fan anticipation for each release, fans can take heart in knowing we can explore this new take on the world of Winx well though the reboot's arrival.

Per a new pre-order listing from Barnes and Noble, we can look for the fifth volume to release on December 23rd, 2025. Just in time for a special Winxmas gift!

Though there isn't much details on the listing, we know that this release will be titled that of one of the later comics focused on season one, "Alone Against Everybody". From this point in the comics, we begin to see them take form away from strictly canon events and create their own narrative. And is it glorious.

As the previous American publisher, manga powerhouse Viz Media, often skipped around and never did a full release of even the season one stories. This will be the first US release of these stories. The second overall English release following the Singapore comic trades.

Words cannot convey my excitement to see more of these beloved stories reach more fans. As a long-time comic lover, I must praise how well these stories are crafted and highly encourage all to give them a chance and support the releases!

This, along with the recent news of a brand-new 2026 calendar slated for release in the summer appear to be the start of long awaited general release merchandise for Winx fans.

The release of coloring books keeps in trend with many other famous and beloved popular IPs. However the most stand-out aspect of the later listing is the notation of Roxy. As glad as one is to see our favorite Earth fairy, it does make us wonder about how much we will see her moving forward.  As of writing this, no new items released pre and post 20th anniversary have shown Roxy.

If this is a indication of her return- well, many fans will be delighted.

As we begin the long awaited arrival of the reboot, it appears that common fan fears of Classic Winx being shelved are no longer valid.

Welcome To A New Begining

1/27/2025

Hello everyone, and may I wish you all a very magical 21st anniversary!

Today marks twenty-one years since many of us have encountered the famous fairies known as the Winx. And what a journey it has been.

It goes without saying how incredibly rare it is for any piece of media to remain active and as so beloved as Winx has for over two decades now. Perhaps, even more than that, how overwhelming it is for many of us to stop and realize of how long we have spent following a certain red-head fairy discover her destiny.

For me, this year marks twenty years since I had would would unknowing to myself be a life-changing encounter. I cannot deny there was some fate at work...

As a long-time Winx fan, I don't think I cannot overstate how incredible these past decades have been for us all on several levels. And perhaps one of the most magical to-date was last year as we all gathered and celebrated twenty years of magic. From the endless events, the large Winx party in Italy and (ahem) the Magical Memories Zine. We as a fandom took the magic the Winx infused us with and brought it to life.

And now, as we stand on the edge of a grand return to Magix, that feeling is only growing as we head into another year.

When it comes to Winx, be it in a general manor, the fandom or somewhere in between. There is a lot to digest and dissect. In due time, we will do just that. If anyone knows me saying I have a lot to write about the subject is a understatement.

At this point, you may find yourself pondering many things. Among those musings likely might be around why I am (once more) striving to bring back this site. Well..in short, because I refuse to truly give up.

Winx, like any of you reading, has been a huge aspect of my life longer than I might be willing to admit. There, like most things in life, have been highs and lows. But after spending much of last year working alongside some of my friends as we curated the fan zine- it became clear to me just how impact, how imperative Winx was.

On the surface, Winx may appear to be a show. But for us- the fans who have been on this magical adventure anywhere from two decade to a few years, Winx is much more than that. It's our bonds and friendship, the thing that inspires and empowers us, and perhaps a fragment of where our true selves emerged.

How many properties can claim all that?

So here we stand today. Looking back at the past that lead us to this moment, and reaching out our hands to a future yet known.

But this isn't a path anyone of us walks alone.

As you may recall, Winx 4 Life has previously been ran and manged not only by myself. Along with my dear friends (whom I miss dearly!), Angie of Angela's Winx World and StellaBigFan. It was a magical time, one that can never be truly replicated.

But those embers of passion keep on burning as I welcome three of my friends whom will now join me here on Winx 4 Life! Be sure to give them and our site support as we get ready for a brand-new chapter to begin!
