Australian Winx Product News
Here is the full article
JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (Nasdaq: JAKK) spreads the magic of Nickelodeon’s animated action and fantasy series, Winx Club, to Australia through an exclusive agreement with Funtastic Limited to market and distribute the Winx Club toy line.
JAKKS’ Winx Club product line is scheduled to launch in the U.S., Australia, North America, Latin America and the UK in Fall 2012 to coincide with the premiere of the brand new CG episodes of Winx Club on Nickelodeon and will span multiple categories, including dolls, playsets, role play, dress-up and Halloween costumes.
"The agreement with Funtastic for the Winx Club product line strengthens our international presence in the girls toy aisle,” said Stephen Berman, President and CEO, JAKKS Pacific, Inc. "We are looking forward to introducing to the Australian market our comprehensive line of Winx Club products that bring positive messages of girl empowerment, friendship, adventure, magic and fashion that Winx Club epitomizes.”
Stewart Downs, Chief Executive Officer, Funtastic Limited, added, "We are looking forward to bringing the magic of JAKKS’ Winx Club product line to young girls in Australia, and we are thrilled to have been chosen as their distribution partner for this innovative girls’ brand.”
Winx Club is an animated modern fantasy adventure series that follows six best friends -- Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha -- enrolled in Alfea College, the finest fairy school in all the realms. When trouble arises, the Winx girls transform into beautiful fairies who use their unique magical powers to fight villains and save the world from evil. Winx Club first debuted in Italy six years ago and quickly became a hit that has generated an international franchise of toys, books, clothing, and DVDs, as well as a CG-animated feature film.
The Winx Club began airing on Nickelodeon in the U.S. in June 2011 and in Australia in September 2011 with four specials premiering monthly through the fall, followed by a weekly series of Winx Club seasons three and four. Culled from the first two seasons of the Italian hit series from Rainbow S.p.A., the four specials include state-of-the-art visual effects and feature the voices of some of Nick’s biggest stars, including: Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP) as Aisha; Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious) as Daphne; Ariana Grande (Victorious) as Diaspro; and Matt Shively (True Jackson, VP) as Skye; as well as Molly Quinn (Castle) as Bloom. Cymphonique Miller (How to Rock) performs the show’s theme song, "Winx You're Magic Now.” Winx Club is a co-production with Rainbow S.p.A. and Nickelodeon.

Season 5; What do you think?

Unfortunately, at this time little is confirmed about the new transformation, plot and Roxy's possible role. But if we all recall back to last October when OP found an article that she translated saying, “…The Winx will confront the oil catastrophe in New Orleans…”
Going off of that and the underwater background, it seems that we will be going under the sea.
What do you think or what to to see in the new season? What are your thoughts on the new transformation, what do you think it may be called or how one earns it? Do you think the Winx will be on Earth or back in Magix?
Season 5 Promo? *UPDATE*
I've seen this picture floating around on Winx Club Episodios, WinxClub4Ever, and CristalWinxLolina and decided I'd share it with you all. Winx Club Episodios (The original founder, from what I understand.) has been one to dig up some rare stuff before it hits the main stream internet, yet this doesn't seem to have much information on it - so I would definitely call this a rumour for now. Michael's Favourites hasn't mentioned anything like this, and Michael is typically among the firsts to get ahold of big information like this, so it could easily be fanart.
As for the transformation itself, it's certainly very pretty, and I'd love to see how the wings look in full size! What o you all think of this promo? Fake or legit? And what do you think of the transformation?
*UPDATE* Thanks to Kikurukina Bal Des'cagel's latest post on Winx-Fairies, we now can say there's a decent chance at this being the real deal! Please go to the following link for the details! http://winx-fairies.blogspot.com/2011/09/rainbow-at-mip-com-with-season-5-poster.html
*UPDATE 2* Thanks to Fantazyme, we have yet another one of these mysterious promos uncovered! Here's the link: http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=Winx%20Club%20season%205&order=9&offset=72#/d4b2l4q. I must say though, the pose is a bit awkward. However, the awesome outfit and wings are more clearly defined in this photo - and we can see that Bloom has an awesome new 'do! ^^

Hey Winx fans, don't forget today at noon the third one hour special "Battle For Magix" airs. And it was just released the trailer for our fourth and final special; "The Shadow Phoenix" recaping the events from season 2.
Here is the first trailer, as uploaded by BelieveInWinx
Five weeks until it airs, what do you think about only having one hour to recap season two? What are you excited about seeing again, or nervous about having cut out?

What Is Roxy's Role?
Normally, I don't write a lot of option articles, but it is something I am going to start to do more of.
Ever since May 21st (during Victorious the first ad was shown), Nick has been advertising the Winx's one hour specials. All of the ads both online and on TV, the games and even the opening we have seen the Beliviex used.
Even though we are two days away from the airing of the third Winx special, season four is going to be here before we know it. But Roxy hasn't been seen or talked about, nor has a voice actor been announced like other characters in Winx.
I know there has been much debated in the fandom of is Roxy is a Winx or if she isn't. There are numerous reasons why one may or may not think she is indeed a Winx, but season four was mainly about Roxy. It was because of her the Winx achieved their Beliviex, among other things.
So, yet again the question arises; is Roxy a Winx and what role will she play not only in Nick's dub, but season five? What do you think the future holds for our resident animal fairy? What is Roxy's role?

Looks like Nick is gearing up for the next special as they have added a brand -new quiz.
For anyone who cannot access the quiz, here are the screen caps of the quiz! ^^

Besides the new quiz, 'The World of Winx' has acquired a few new updates!
Coming soon will be the next transformation, Believeix!
Looks like two more areas will be up on Thursday, any guess of what they are?
